to the room. i always tell my clients to use high gloss paint the looks rich opposed to flat paint that just looks doll. -- dull. in keeping with our thing, i wanted to add some trauma and the dining room. paint the dining room black. i just think it is so warm and rich. it also serves as a backdrop to my collection of paintings and engravings. everyone thinks you have to use window treatments. in my dining room, that is not the case. i decided to let the light filter the room because outside is a beautiful view of mature trees in any season. this is the family room. i wanted it to be cozy for the kids, but still wanted to add a bit of my personal design style. to make the room playful, and things of interest. i decided to frame one of my scars. it proves art can come in any form. these dogs are super fund. it adds a sense of regal as to the room, even though it is a play room. i really enjoyed sharing my house with you today. i hope my tips help you in your own renovation. >> coming up, behind the doors of a castle and a surprising spot, yonkers, new york. a-filled apartment makeover in one

with a leather hardware pull i made from a simple leather strap that will give us an luxurious look for not a lot of money. when you're installing upper cabinets, the wall-to-wall. it extends the space and tricks the eye into thinking the room is bigger. finding the perfect art can be tough. i found this great sketches from my clients days in art school. i will put them on the wall in a collage. it looks fantastic when finished. we're using this quarter and tax service the week and put up photos and awards. it is a great way of setting a backdrop to the home office. technology, chords. a great way to control it is to put one hole in the back of the work surface disguised. these are available at the hardware store. this is such an unbelievable transformation. to say this is dramatic is an understatement. my clients are going to die when they get home to see this. come on and check it out. with a few coats of paint, we completely changed the surface. it is open, very, bright. it weighed better than before. the light in here was -- we added three different light sources. we have this land, under cab
